Five minutes before I start a three day job I get the text we were all waiting for: Tania and Warwick now have a baby called Natasha and I'm an Auntie for the second time.  Ecstatic!

While the rest of my family were celebrating I was working in Edinburgh for the start of the festival, filming for the BBC.

Surreal moments:  harnessed in, broadcasting live from up a crane as The Magnets acapella group perform.

And back down to earth: the only option for dinner after an 11pm finish.  Sigh.

And no, didn't fit a run in during any of that.  Now I'm days behind and in no state to do my 12 mile run today.  Maybe Monday...
