Spoilt my beloved on his birthday, then caught up with my West End buddies - Ali H, Susan G-P and then German at Artisan Roast. He declared their espresso not a patch on Tapa's.
After a good day in town I fitted in a run around Drumpellier park, starting at 7pm. It was still warm, and the sun, while getting lazy in the sky, is still hanging around long enough for plenty of people to still be running, cycling, feeding ducks and walking dogs at that time of night. We know it's going soon but the melancholy feeling of autumn is yet to appear. I managed 6 miles at 10 min per mile, and the last two felt the best.
